Each region of Spain is it's own world and Catalunya is perfect example. This tour has been put together by our local guides to show you the best this region has to offer a rider. Arrive and depart from the vibrant city of Barcelona. Ride to the Costa Brava, an enticing coastline of the north east that's been a destination for artists and vacationers for generations. The curvy costal roads are home to racing names like Crivillé, Gibernau and Checa. Our northern route takes us into the eastern Pyrenees mountains with endless curves, vistas and no traffic. The castle dotted views change from coasts to alpine mountains, to vineyards in tight canyons, to vast groves of olive trees on rolling hills. Enjoy three days of track time on Circuit de Catalunya on a BMW S1000RR with Troy Corser and his team of coaches. Optional upgrades to slicks and warmers are available. The tour is especially good for pillion couples. Not only is the scenery great from rear seat but passengers get to spend 3 days exploring the city of Barcelona while the riders are at the track. Best tour for views from your hotel balcony.

Tour Cancellation Policy
Special Spain Corona Virus 2021 Addendum to Cancelation Policy
Here it is in plain English.
If the tour must be canceled because Spain is locked down again or you can not get a visa to enter due to Covid19 (SARS-CoV-2) you will get your full amount of money back with 45 days of cancelation. It takes us a while to get what refunds we can.
Leod Escapes is taking the cancelation risk. We will loose at least $1400 on every person if the tour is forced to cancel. Given the situation we feel confident with that bet. If YOU are required to get a Covid19 test in order to travel and you refuse, then you will loose your deposit. We’ve taken the test ourselves, it’s really not that bad.
Other than Covid19, normal cancelation policy applies.
Standard Cancelation Policy
Cancellations are rare but hotel and bike vendors are often not as forgiving as we’d like. If you must cancel Leod Escapes urges you to transfer your tour slot to a good friend whenever possible. It’s not in our benefit to operate at a loss but it is in our best interests that you feel you are treated fairly.
A deposit of around 30% reserves your bike(s) and rooms. Full payment is due 60 days before the tour.
If you cancel 60 days or more prior to the tour, you will lose 30% of the deposit, any balance will be held as credit towards another tour for the same or following year.
If you cancel between 59 and 21 days prior to the starting date of the tour you will lose the deposit. The balance will be held in credit towards another tour in the same or following year.
If you cancel 20 days prior to the starting date of the tour you loose 100% of the tour cost.

The smart move might be to wear your track gear with a jacket over it in the morning breeze. Once we get to the track you’ll get signed in and meet your individual track coaches and your head coach Troy Corser. Today is the day to get used to the circuit and the brakes and handling of the new BMW S1000RR. Riders will be staying at a hotel near the track and enjoying dinner together. Passengers sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast and join Operations Manager Nancy in exploring Barcelona for the next three days while the riders just go round and round the same bit of pavement.
Day
3 Track Day 2
Riders, a quick hotel breakfast and we take a quick ride to the track on our street bikes and head to our first briefing of the day. Today it’s about increasing the throttle and the brakes and using some of Troy’s techniques to do that. Lunch is always included at the track for you so take the time to enjoy lunch with your coach and focus of the key turns that are challenging you. By the afternoon you’ll start to understand how that famous pass Rossi took on Lorenzo in 2009 was just so amazing. Passengers you’ll have had a great second day roaming about Barcelona. You’ll be learning how architecture in Barcelona is a lot more fun that it sounds. With Nancy’s guidance and your experimentation you’ll are get rather adept and Barcelona subways. Who’s got the best seafood tapas in world? It’s Barcelona! Who’s up for some absinthe?
Day
4 Track Day 3
Riders it’s time to put it altogether and refine our body position as we watch our lap time drop. Be sure to grab some track photos that were taken of you. Grab that selfie or autograph on your Leod Escapes shirt from Troy Corser. Passengers, you’ll catch a ride to meet up with your riders this afternoon and see that last session or two at the track. Passengers may want to take a ride with Troy Corser around the circuit. Tonight we all regroup for dinner and hear the plan for the next few days.
Day
5 Montmeló to Platja d’Aro
Today we first head north into the mountains of Montseny and Guillerires Natural Parks. The curves take us east to the coast where we stop in Tossa de Mar. Next up a true curvy coastal challenge in the Massís de Cadiretes a protected natural region linked together by a few villages. You are now riding the Catalan Costa Brava. Well take a final mountain run before stopping for the night in Platja d’Aro.
Day
6 Costa Brava to Colliure
Today we explore the Costa Brava region, head through some of the medieval villages of Baix Empordá and ride across the fertile fields to Cadaqués. This little beach town for centuries has been a gathering spot for artists like Dali and Picasso. Today, it’s also a rather popular tourism spot for sun seekers. Hop over the mountain to the north and stop in on Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery which has been there since the late 800s. It’s been partially restored and still commands an impressive view. Then another trip defining ride along the mountain curves above the ocean that’s pure Costa Brava. We cross over into France and stay in the coastal harbor town of Collioure.
Day
7 Colliure to Guilleries Mountains
This morning we head east and climb into the the Pyrenees mountains to cross a mountain pass on the border of France and Spain, Col d’Ares. We take that back road down to the medieval village of Besalú. Then up into the mountains to Garrotxa Volcanic National Park. From here we head south on an insane mountain road that takes us into a valley of impossible beauty with the Pyrenees cliffs high above. We climb again into the Les Guilleries mountains to our hotel for the night.
Day
8 Guilleries Mountains to Cam Boix
It’s time to get a little Pyrenees action in with high mountains, deep river valleys and no traffic. We head east into the rolling hills of Llusanés and then north to the Cadí-Moixeró National Park. Finishing up with a long curvy lake run up the Oliana valley to our hotel for the night. This will certainly tempt you to come back to ride more of the Pyrenees. Tonight we stay in a lovely isolated area of Cam Boix.
Day
9 Can Boix to Tortosa
After breakfast you’re treated to another Pyrenees pass, Coll de Bóixols before we head south through Sierra del Montsec. The land begins to change, alpine forest give way to vineyards then, vast olive groves as we head south. A new world of twisty roads greets us as we enter the rustic mountains of Serra Montsant and then ride along the Ebre river to our little castle hotel in Tortosa.
Day
10 Tortosa to Barcelona
It’s hard to leave our little castle above the town of Tortosa but a final day of fun awaits. If you lived in Barcelona and went on a great Sunday ride, this is where you would go. The dense patch of curvy roads through the Muntanyes de Prades. We are on the route local riders from Barcelona know well. From here we rely on local experience and guile to bypass the Barcelona traffic and get us safely back to the bike station near our hotel. Join everyone for a final farewell dinner. Take a walk in the evening in front of the Palau Nacional de Montjuïc, a massive palace that houses the art treasures of Catalunya.
Day
11 Departure
With all your luggage we recommend just taking a cab from our hotel in the Sants region of Barcelona to the airport. Since we have your departure information we can try to help link up parties to share cabs. Be sure to get everyones email and social media information so you can share photos and join your new friends on another track and tour adventure.
